The Boise Basque Museum in cooperation with the Basque Government has created an exhibit detailing Basque Immigration to the United States. The exhibit consists of artifacts and visual panels and a component of "Immigrant Shadows: Tracing the Herders' Legacy". The exhibit is installed in 6 rooms of the restored dormitory at Ellis Island Feb.- May 2010. The work was previewed Jan. 7, 2010 at the Boise Basque Museum. The exhibit will be permanently installed at the Basque Museum in September of 2010. Michael Vogt is curator of the exhibit, "Hidden in Plain Sight: Basques in America".
